Bryt: Day 41
Diane Day 40, April 9
I have wanted and failed to get pictures of the Salt River with real water in it. As we crossed over the 19th Av bridge, once again I said "self, you need to get pictures of the river while they are releasing water." We were both in anxious to get home, so this is the Salt River from the window of the car, through the fence.

Bryt: Day 39
I hereby relinquish my right to claim to be the only amateur photographer who resides in the Eddy household. I now share the title with Morgan, who will henceforth be depended on to take all the back-up photos when I, the Senior Blogger, do not feel as though I would like to do so.
Go forth with camera, Little One.

I will be the first to say that I hate doing dishes. Hate it with a passion as strong as a million suns. However, I will also be the first to say that doing dishes using my mother-in-law's new dishwasher is a lot more bearable. So here's to you Bosch dishwasher, and to not having to wash dishes twice.Diane Day 39, April 8

Diane Day 38, April 7
Month 5 of the 12 Months of Christmas came early to some. I tried to create a special moment for two of my daughters. Helping them to feel how wonderful it is to be a woman with Elder Uchtdorf's new book. I'm not sure that totally succeeded, but I have faith the one day they will feel the spirit. Perhaps during Month 5, May, Mother's Day.

Bryt: Day 36
Morgan buckled herself into Ian's bouncer/rocker thing and because she is 100% into the "I do it myself" stage, instead of admitting she needed help getting the thing unbuckled, she walked around with it attached to her for a couple hours. If she needed to turn, she would do this little small-stepped- swivel to the side and then correct and keep on chuggin.
BUT, the part that made me giggle was how much she reminded me of that junk lady from the old 80s classic "The Labyrinth" Ohhhh what a good laugh.

Bryt: Day 34
It's Morgan out wide, I think this girl's got a plan, it looks, wait, YES it's true she's passing up all the other kids to skirt the sides and get the eggs on the far side of the field! Wow, what a race people, what a race!
(that was all in a very cool announcer voice in case you just couldn't tell)

Tonight as we were coloring eggs, Sammy was having too much fun! He kept grabbing eggs and throwing them in the dye, whether they had one in them already or not. When I asked him to show me his egg, he would laugh. This is him actually laughing and having too much fun. Funny to think that we forget how much fun it is to have a toddler, and difficult to do even the simplist activities.

Bryt: Day 33
When I woke up this morning, this is what Morgan was wearing. I asked JD if she dressed herself (he gave me a "well duh" look, but hello, he's a man and sometimes you just never can tell) and he said she wouldn't change or put on anything else because "this shirt is matches these shorts cause they both has some brown and some stripes!" Yep. Greeeeaaaaaaaat.

It just happens to be one of those simple things that makes me so happy and smile every single time, but I figure it is one of those simple things I will likely forget.
Thus, I must blog :)

Today I recieved my Easter Basket from mom. I am so excited she gave me the one I really wanted, I LOVE IT! This is part of our 24 months of Christmas, I love the green and purple colors and the fact that it is a handcrafted basket. Thanks mom! Did I mention that I LOVE IT!? (Sorry my posts have been late)
Ro: Day 32
I have never been one to come up with elaborate April Fools jokes, but today we decided to have a little fun with Kaylee. While she was at work, Laura texted Kaylee and asked if I could try on her expensive prom dress. Then we took a picture of Connor and said something about "just remember that you love him". After that we fed her a story that Connor had gotten ahold of a blue sharpie and marked right on the front of the dress and that we were going to run to a dry cleaner to see if they could do anything. We even marked up Connor's hand with blue sharpie to authenticate our tale. She fell for it, and kept texting the same sad text "it's ruined..." After a while I felt bad that she was so disappointed. When we finally showed her the non-ruined dress she was so relieved. We had a great laugh and gave her some chocolate so she wouldn't be mad. It made for an exciting evening for us.Thursday, April 1, 2010
