Diane Day 103, June 11

And the golf cart rides begin. "Walter?? can we have a ride?" We realy can't figure out where their parents were, but I know they will remember the rides a long time.

Diane Day 102, June 10

Our camp spot for the weekend near Stoneman Lake. It was a beautiful spot but what a cold weekend.

K-Day 106

Sammy had gymnastics today, and he listened! Normally he gets in there and breaks loose, he isn't even the same kid as when we are at home! Today though we had a great time.

Ro: Day 105

Dad Hulsey has the week off. Everyone is so excited to have him around and so Laura jumped on the opportunity to ask him to take her shooting. Here they are talking guns. They will probably go shoot this one sometime this week.

K-Day 105

Crikey, look at the size of that Dinosaur. luckily we had Stetson the Dinosaur Wrangler with us! He tamed that bad boy in no time!

K-Day 104

Tonight we had Danielle's Sweet 16 party, after the pinata (what 16 yr old doesn't want a pinata?) Trent tried it on has a hat. I love this pic, cause Trent used to be the kid who didn't want attention drawn to him and thought we were all really goofy. As he has gotten older, he really has grown a great sense of humor. P.S. This is the boy that Danielle went on her first date with last weekend!

Ro: Day 104

Nothing like kicking back shirtless after a hard night at the park. Of course I can't participate, but Connor sure seems to think so.

Ro: Day 103

Kaylee and I made this tutu today for a party she had tonight. It's fun to be crafty sometimes.

K-Day 103

We have been playing alot of UNO lately. Always a fun time! Here is Lolo concentrating on what to play next...or is she strategizing?

Ro: Day 102

Just blowing bubbles.

Bryt: Day 102

We made some pretty awesome finger puppets today. You better recognize.

K-Day 102

Ok, here is my bragging picture! I have lost 28 lbs since Jan. So proud of myself, feeling great and loving trying on clothes. Yesterday I stole a swimsuit from Lolo that was a little big for her, it was a medium!

Ro: Day 101

Hey good lookin', what you got cookin'?

Bryt: Day 101

"One minute- no talking- I'm on the phone, Mom."

Diane Day 101, June 9

I sorted thru the pictures on my camera and lo and behold I found this one of Kody when I took him to the dentist a while back. He was so no happy with the situation at all. It's all over now. I hate root canals!

K-Day 101

While out in Chino for some activities today, we ate lunch at the school. When they were done the kids like to run and play with some of the other kids there. As a joke, the kids put Sammy in the lost and found box, he loved it. Kody then hopped in, such silly boys. Sammy didn't want to get out to the pool, he wanted to nap on all the coats and jackets left from the school year.

Bryt: Day 100

Teething. Yay.

Ro: Day 100

He freaks out when the sun gets in his eyes.

K-Day 100

I snuck these pics while the boys played in Kody's room. I love that despite 11 years in between them that the boys still love to play and enjoy each other. I love Sammy's face as Kody prepares to pounce!

Diane Day 100, June 8

Hunter and Cory are great compadres. This was their fort until it got to hot and it was back to the cool pool.

Bryt: Day 99

This is me about to go out and do my very first Mary Kay party. It went pretty well, and I am looking forward to the chance to be able to help bring home some of the bacon :)

Ro: Day 99

Connor got his first water pistol today. Aaron and Tylon and Connor enjoyed running around the yard and spraying each other while I watered the bushes. They didn't dare mess with me as I had the hose on my side.

K-Day 99

I finally finished my beads for Girl's Camp this year. It took Danny to help, but I decided to do the #15 billiard ball. 30-something of these tiny little beads all painted and ready to share at Girl's Camp!

Diane Day 99, June 7

Boy day at Nana's. For lunch we harvested the corn that Cory and Craig "had" to plant back in March at Kid Camp. We were all thrilled to eat fresh corn on the cob for lunch. yummmmm. The artichokes were really good to. Missed you Kristi.

Bryt: Day 98

Playin at the park :)

Bryt: Day 97

She was so very proud of herself for writing her name...on her arm. And then she colored her whole hand black. Bath time, anyone?

Ro: Day 98

He looks like such a little man with his ice cream goatee.

Diane Day 98, June 6

Artichokes! Yea!

K-Day 98

After church we played outside for a little while, Danny promised Sammy some bubbles. Sammy then sat down to play the drums, Dan thought he was done. Turns out he wasn't, Sammy wanted the bubbles while he played and then tried to pop them with the drumsticks. Too cute!

K-Day 97

Danny took the kids down to the square for a car show this morning. He took some great pics, his favorite are the "rat-rods". The ones that are pieced together from old parts and totally modified out. The whole inside of this car was made with old license plates.

Ro: Day 97

We went to Pizza Mart tonight, delish. Connor was the best he has ever ever been in a restaurant. And I love it when Aaron has sweet bonding moments with his boy.

Diane Day 97, June 5

Our purpose for going to Prescott on Friday was to get the golf cart in for service. According to our kiddos, we had to go for a ride first.

Ro: Day 96

A couple of Laura and Kaylee's friends came over and we made flowers to put in our hair. I just made some easy ones while the other girls were a bit more elaborate. I am not even sure how often I will wear them, but it was fun to have a little girl time during Connor's nap.

Bryt: Day 96

I had 6 kids in my house today between my 2, my niece and nephew, and Savannah's kids. It was surprisingly really fun. They caught this giant toad right in our front yard. I am really loving all the animals that live out here (just keep them outta my house!)

Bryt: Day 95

"It's okay Ian, I will hold yours hand. It's okay Bubba, it's okay."
-Morgan

K-Day 96

It's official, I have a 16 yr old! Watch out roads, she will be driving on her own at the end of July. I am so grateful to have a duaghter like Danielle. She is such a bright light in this ever darkening world, lives the morals she has been taught, already has her YW Medallian and does so well in school. Not sure how this outstanding lady came from her parents, but we are sooooo proud to call her ours!

Diane Day 96, June 4

First of all -- Happy Bday Danielle. We were at the Oquists to have ice cream to celebrate. I am sure that Kristi will post a picture of the birthday girl. After the goodies were consumed the little boys wanted to go outside again. Danny did this way cool thing with Sammy. The contrast between their hands, Sammy's little and Danny's large and showing the results of his work day, was quite touching. I really wanted a picture, but I missed the original hand shake. I suggested that they do it again. Sammy declined "No" spspspspsp (how do you spell a spitting sound with the tongue flapping?) So we work with what we have.

K-Day 95

Tuesday was Kids Club at the mall. I love how the older kids get into the silly songs even more than some of the little kids. Here are Kody, Danielle and Lolo's friend, Audrey doing the ChaCha Slide, they even taught Morgan this move!

Diane Day 95, June 3

What an evening. Lauryn is here for the night, Danzi has been keeping her company and of course Hunter finally made it over to swim and eat. I had lots of dinner and Remington was home alone so I called him over to eat with us. All is well. Right up to the moment that Tobie called and asked Rem if he had locked the house when left and if he had his keys. Yes and No. The problem ---- Tobie did not have her keys either, nor did Stetson. This seems to be an ongoing problem with them. Dany is in Payson. Now what? Stetson suggested Unc Danny, but Tobie saved him because of distance. But what about Unc Rob? And so the evening progressed. It was great to see Damian, he just arrived for the summer a few days ago. The kids all had a blast, running, hollering and generally doing nothing but doing it quite loudly and constantly. By the time Tobie and Robert completed the task I was exhausted, noise overload. Whoooohoooo

Diane Day 94, June 2

I can't believe that I forgot to post. I mean completely!!.. I love this gate, I can feel the warmth of the sun just looking at it. Oh wait a minute, it's 100+ outside. Where's the shade?

Ro: Day 95

Laura and I did some shopping at the farmers' market today. I have never been to one. It was so much fun, but I think that is more because I just always have fun with Laura. It was fun to see all the male employees going out of their way to help Laura or answer her questions. Seriously, all of them were talking to her. It was fun fun fun and such a good deal, we were just wandering around and laughing our heads off. SuuuuWEEET!

Bryt: Day 94

Work, work, work all day, to make the ghetto go away...

Ro: Day 94

Connor went on a date with Grandma and Grandpa tonight. It was fun for Aaron and myself too because we were able to be spontaneous and go get our old Nintendo out of storage and try and beat The Legend of Zelda. It was fun for all of us. Connor brought this pinwheel home and I was still feeling like such a kid from my night of spontaneity that I just had to give the pinwheel a spin.

K-Day 94

Here he is ladies, the cutest lifeguard around! The Heiners have been good friends of ours since we both moved into the Territorial Ward over 6 years ago. Lori now runs the Chino Valley pool and of course that means her sons are lifeguards as well as a few other kids from the ward. Here is her second, Colten trying to look cool watching the baby pool! Hard to believe we met him when he was still in Primary and now he is 17.

Ro: Day 93

I guess we have both been a little accident prone lately. It seems like Connor has had quite a few bonks the past couple of days. I think the next book he gets will be Mr. Bump.

Bryt: Day 93

Morgan said, "Wow Mom! Look at that big head! It's mine head!"

K-Day 93

Career Day at Quack Elementary went really well, with lots of career ducks showing up to teach the ducklings all they could be.

Diane Day 93, June 1

Don't mess around at the Stevens' house, this is the hanging tree. (My oldest daughter)

Diane Day 92, May 31

Two things: I am a day late on this, my excuse is that I was in bed all day with a fathom gall bladder attack. (poor diet, toooooo much greasy cheese) And Kristi stole my thunder, but I really was going to post this aunt hill picture yesterday. I took it last week while we were out on a job. Poor Walt, he asked "Did you get any pictures of the job site or just stuff?"

K-Day 92

While doing yard work today, we moved a bunch of stepping stones leading no where. Under alot of them were ants and some other kind of wierd ground dwelling bug. I love the pattern left behind after they all scrambled to getback underground, what amazing little passage ways.
