Bryt: Day 318 January 11

Tug of war two seconds too late. Morgan just wrested the rope away from Howie :)

Bryt Day 317 January 10

It's my 2 job workin, full time student/studying husband.

Ro: Day 318

*"It' love, it's love, it's loooooooooove! Make it hurrrrt!"

*Taking Back Sunday - Bonus Mosh Pt 2

Diane Day 318 Jan 11

I haven't gotten the pictures off my camera this year. So I have to go back in time. I am the little blur in the middle. Lake Tahoe, mid 50s, I was probably 2. Vacationing with cousins and our fathers made sand cars for us.

Ro: Day 317

Connor feels so independent now that he realized he is strong enough to drag his basketball hoop out whenever he wants. And you can tell he is his father's son, plopping it right in front of the TV while I am trying to watch Star Trek. Sheesh.

Ro: Day 316

My early twenties are gone gone gone, then why do I still feel the maturity level of a twenty-year-old?

Ro: Day 315

Connor had to stay home from church because of some random fevering. But Grandma brought home this surprise to compensate for missing nursery.

Diane Day 315 Jan 8

And it begins again, are you interested in my 12 months of Christmas for 2011? If so, I will post them for you.

Day 312 - 314

Some of our family sent us these pictures they took of the Salt Lake Temple.

Ro: Day 314

Well, I just have to say that those hair clipper attachments always look like they are going to make the hair longer. I was deceived by the number 4. It seems pretty middle of the road, right? Wrong, it is short short short. So Connor got his first buzz today, and it is so hard to see him with so little hair after it took him so long to grow any. Oh well, hair grows. Next time I will try a 7.

Ro: Day 313

Connor thought his letter train was pretty neat. And then he crashed it. Boys...

Ro: Day 312

I just think it is so funny how Connor loves to "swim" in the bathtub and terrified of a swimming pool, even when I am holding him in it.

Ro: Day 311

Connor was out with Grandma and Grandpa, Aaron was at Scouts, so Kaylee and I went to Krazy Subs to visit Jacque and partake of the cookie ice cream sandwiches. Check out that beautiful monster. (The dessert, not me)

Diane day 311 Jan 4

One of my gallery pages for the gourd book.

Diane Day 310 Jan 3

Santa felt sorry the tired reindeer after flying all over the world on Christmas. So when the snow came to sunny Phoenix, Santa let him stand by the BBQ for warmth.

Diane end of December

The little gnomes were unprepared for the snow flakes that came to Carefree, Arizona. The two elves, were smart and stayed inside. Christmas is over and they were watching the the gnomes shiver outside.

Ro: Day 310

Connor just got his doctor kit back today (it had been confiscated for failure to clean it up after being asked multiple times). Anyhow, he got it back just in the nick of time, because Daddy was sick today. Luckily Doctor Connor was in the house.

Ro: Day 309

It was just one of those days.

Ro: Day 308

The beginning of the year is always fun because it means I get to go over the budget for last year and see how we did. It gives me a chance to play with spreadsheets :) Now you might wonder what is fun about looking at aaaaall the money we spent over the last year, but it really helped me see the tithing blessings we didn't even realize we were getting. I have a testimony of tithing.

Bryt: Day 310 January 3

We finally got snow! Everybody else had some, and now we have some too! Well, we had some, until about 1.

Bryt: Day 309 Sunday, January 2nd

A little over a week later and Ian still loves his toys. I would say Operation Christmas was a success.

Bryt: Day 308 Saturday January 1st

Morgan loooooves her first Barbie. And I gotta say, she is pretty cool. Those wings of hers fold down and turn into a princess skirt. AND, he clothes are painted on, so I don't even have to worry about nakey-barbie issues. Double yay.

Bryt: Day 307 Friday December 31

Just call us boot matchers. Cause we are.

Bryt: Day 306 Thursday, December 30th

Today, a monumental discovery occurred. Ian likes Kix. And Morgan is willing to share them. Hoorah.

Bryt: Day 305 Wednesday December 29th

Okay, this is seriously starting to get ridiculous. Morgan now sleeps with 5, yes, 5 stuffed animals. And apparently, they all have to be on top of her. What the heck?

Bryt: Day 304 Tuesday December 28th

Alex and Christy came to visit for Christmas and it was so fun having them! I am so sad they live so far away :( This is a picture I took from Ian's point of view in the van while Alex was playing peek a boo. Hehehe. I so tricky. Trick Trick!

Bryt: Day 303 Monday, December 27

We got to go over to visit the Parkes while they were in town for the holidays and make some gingerbread houses. It was so fun, and Morgan is old enough to have made her very own! Those red dots on the top of her roof are the reindeer's noses (animal crackers). I can't believe how smart she is getting.

Bryt: Day 302 Sunday, December 26

This picture just CRACKS ME UP because it looks like JD stole Morgan's bike and is riding around in circles around the poor, sad little victim of the terrible bully-Dad.
So, here's what is ACTUALLY happening in the picture: Morgan got frustrated with her new big-girl bike and started riding her old trike. So JD jumped onto her bike and started riding around her, trying to show her how easy it was. She didn't want to be talked into her new bike, and so she is pouting.

Bryt: Day 301 Saturday December 25

I was so worried because Ian sort of got overlooked this Christmas, he ended up with this ball, some legos, a bath toy, and the rest of his toys were from grandparents and cousins. But it was so nice to see how much he still loves the little things! His grin made my guilt fly right out the window!

Bryt: Day 300 Friday December 24

Hooray! Christmas Eve is finally here! This year the little cousins did a gift exchange where they exchanged gifts they had made for each other. Morgan and Celeste both got these masks (they each got 4 or 5 different kinds) and they were having so much fun with the cat ones.

Bryt: Day 299 Thursday, December 23

I am sitting here blogging and my fingers are freezing and it is snowing outside and I came across this. I wonder if I buy myself some ruby slippers and chant if it would take me there. Probably not. Dangit.

Bryt: Day 298 Wednesday, December 22

I peeked in to check on Morgan in the tub today and she caught me. Then she got all excited and said, "Look Mom! It's Mary!" I am so glad that while she may tell a member of our bishopric (true story) that Christmas is not about giving, but about SANTA...eeesh, gasp) that she really does get it. She plays out the nativity story with her toys all the time, and I am so happy to know I haven't completely failed her :)

Bryt: Day 297 Tuesday December 21

:)  :)  :)  :)  :)

Bryt: Day 296 Monday December 20

This is one of my favorite things that happens almost every night. I will put Morgan to bed, and then, without fail, Ian will play with her toys and be so very excited because she isn't there to snatch them away from him. He always gets such a big cheezy grin. It's the best.

Bryt: Day 295 Sunday December 19th

More art by Morgan :)

Bryt: Day 294 Saturday, December 19th

Ian has started balancing on his own. He is so proud of himself, and Morgan and I will usually give him a whole hearted "Hooray!" or "Good Job!" so he has started leaning against things like the couch with his belly and then putting his hands up like he is standing on his own. He's so tricky :)

Diane Jan 2

Ta-dah! The book cover.

Ro: Day 307

It was Matt's last day before going back to basic training. Connor doesn't quite fit into his combat boots, which I am definitely fine with for now.

Ro: Day 306

I didn't even know that Arizona had legalized some fireworks until just a few days ago. I begged Aaron to let us buy some cheap sparklers and since they were cheap, he said yes. Woohoo! Even though it was freezing freezing cold outside, we had a lot of fun ringing in the the new year with our "sparklies" as Connor calls them. And Kaylee was so artistic with hers.
