K-Day 79

Oh no!! There's a tiger driving the car!

Ro: Day 79

This morning was very much a sidewalk chalk type morning.

I actually have lots of pictures to choose from for yesterday and today. Half are of Kristi's kids so I will let Kristi post her pics of games and concerts. These cute little cherubs are our granddaughter Emmalea (almost 4) and Megan Wilson from the ward (almost 5). We had Emma over to play in the irrigation and thought she might like a girl her age to play with since she is surrounded by boys. At first she just ignored Megan, I guess she wasn't sure what to do with a girl her age. After about an hour she started to warm up and finally actually enjoy company. As far as playing in the irrigation, it didn't hold much interest. They wanted to get into the BIG water. (the pool). The bubbles held their interest the longest with the most laughter.

Bryt: Day 79

Last night my brother who I don't see very often dropped in. It has been so fun seeing him playing with Morgan. She poked him with a stick and he died dramatically, and Morgan was just LOVING it!

Sorry that I didn't get this posted yesterday, it was a crazy day and by the time we got to the Gingerbread house, I didn't care. Anyway,,,,, These are the first of my apricot crop, a small portion of the bounty to come. I canned 13 pints and brought lots and lots to the fam in Prescott. I am sure when we get back home tomorrow the tree will be ready to pick completely. I will be canning apricots nonstop for a couple of days. mmmmmmm

Ro: Day 78

Connor got terribly sick this evening. He threw up 7 times in 3 hours. My poor miserable boy. He kept saying he "spit" because he doesn't know puke yet. He is sleeping now. I hope he stays asleep.

K-Day 78

Like father like daughter...guess the day was too much for them! This was Saturday night, after Danny had spent the day and night before at Father/Sons and Lolo and her friend spent the entire afternoon in the pool at the YMCA.

K-Day 77

I helped in the nursery today, when Sis Mangum pulled out the bubbles the kids exploded with happiness. I grabbed my phone and started taking so many. I love this one, it has Sammy laughing (which is all he did, he didn't even chase them, just laughed hysterically) and Cole on the run to get them. I had a great time helping!!

Ro: Day 77

Sam and Howie taught me how to play Risk today. Actually, it was Risk: 2210, which is a future version that is shorter and involves some extra elements. I ended up winning! That was mostly because of the alliance Howie and I formed. It was loads of fun and I will love to play again some time.

This is what happens when you don't put away things. The trees eat it up. This metal garden decor item is not permantly part of the Jacaranda tree.

K-Day 76

Danny took this pic of him and Sammy at the Father/Son's outing. I love it, that Danny took Saturday off from a job we really needed him to do to take the boys camping. I am also thankful that Kody made sure Danny knew how much he wanted to go, and wouldn't really let him work.

How lucky can I be? I am married to a drummer, and have 2 grandsons who are drummers. This is Rem. He is so laid back. He just does what needs to be done.

Hunting for Lizards

Ro: Day 76

We planted my mothers day petunias tonight. They are just seeds and I have never really ever grown anything so I sure hope that something comes up.

K-Day 75

Sammy enjoying the parachute at Storytime, he is such a crack up. He is getting a little bit more independant. I normally have to stand right next to him during all the activities, but Tuesday I was able to sneak to the other side and take a few pics. He had a blast!!!

Ro: Day 75

Susan is really good at sewing and she has been wanting to sell some of her stuff for a long time. Today she finally posted her very first item on her little online store. I am very proud of her for having the courage to follow her dream.
This is her site if you are interested.

K-Day 74

Our buddy Rocky, the big guy, got Lolo a pitching coach. This is her first lesson, about a week ago, it was good for her, however she has not done so well since I think she is thinking too much about all she learned. She'll relax soon I know. Thanks Rocky!

This is a sample of some of the great talent and skill my grandchildren can display. For the school talent show Remington did an Extreme Pogo Stick routine. He was great. I had the privilege of sitting front of some of his groupies. Yes! Red has groupies. They cheered him on and thought his routine was wonderful. Good for Rem.
