Ro: Day 247

This morning on our run we gals were discussing the election and one of them realized that our run would take us right by her polling place. As we passed it we realized that it was 5:48, only 12 minutes until the polls opened so I offered to wait with her if she just wanted to get her voting out of the way as early as possible. So we waited for the polls to open (they do a super cool announcement when the polls officially open, complete with a couple of "hear ye's") Anyway, she was the very first person to vote at her location. And the gentlemen who were running the location were fun to talk to while I waited. They even gave me an "I voted" sticker since I sent in my mail-in ballot last week. Hurray for the right to vote!
