Ro: Day 365

The year of picture of the day is over. I admit I will be glad to not have to worry about taking a picture every single day, especially on days when nothing is really going on. This last gem was taken by the next generation of photographers. It is probably one of the best pictures Connor has ever taken, so I honor him on this last day by posting his work.

Ro: Day 364

We had popped up to Prescott Valley this weekend because there was a snowstorm forecast for Saturday, which didn't come. We needed to go home Saturday night without seeing more than a flurry here or there. Sunday I woke up to this picture sent from my mom. Bummer.

Bryt: Day 365 February 28

I was absolutely thrilled to walk in and see Morgan teaching Ian to brush his teeth. She is such a good sister and he is so smart.
I always knew I'd get sappy when this was all over, and here I go. I am so glad I did this, even if I didn't do it as well as I would have liked to. But, I am so very thankful that it has given me the opportunity to document so much of my family. They are my everything.

Bryt: Day 364 February 27

Ahhh, sure, why not? Dinner on your head sounds good to me.

Bryt: Day 363 February 26

Happy Birthday Morgan! I cannot believe you are 4. You are my perfect little girl, and you made the best ballerina of them all. You've got some killer dance moves, Sweet Girl!

Bryt: Day 362 February 25

On a imaginary train ride in a cardboard box made for 2.

Bryt: Day 361 February 24

Perfect pinwheel fun. And only a dollar too.

Bryt: Day 360 February 23

hehehe. Cross eyed.

Bryt: Day 359 February 22

She played inside a box and said it was a hotel for about an hour and a half. I think it's time for a little vacation :)

Bryt: Day 358 February 21

I just love them. So much.

Bryt: Day 354 February 17

After 2 horrible weeks Ian is finally feeling better! It's the first smiley laugh we've seen out of him for a while! RSV and bronchiolitis and 2 ear infections that just won't go away, but he is smiling again, and I am SO happy to have him back!

Bryt: Day 357 February 20

I seriously think this kid is trying to give me a heart attack at 24.

Bryt: Day 356 February 19

I had a horrible dream. I woke up crying in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep, trying my hardest to not be mad at JD for real. Then, that morning he let me sleep in and when I finally got my butt outta bed this is what I found. Why was I mad again?

Bryt: Day 355 February 18

Son, you aren't quite old enough to be standing on the stairs. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Bryt: Day 353 February 16

"No, Mom, YOU ate the last chocolate!"

Bryt: Day 352 February 15

I love this face. It is his "trying really hard to pull, push, get into something" face.

Bryt: Day 351 February 14

Happy Valentines Day! JD came home from school with these flowers (tulips are my favorite, they feel so springy) and he is such a sneak because we agreed we were celebrating Valentines on the 15th this year. (half off everything AND it lets Grandma and Grandpa go out on Valentines :) Ope, and Morgan made the house. So stinking cute, isn't it?

Bryt: Day 350 February 13

Morgan's first pop rock experience was a hit!

Bryt: Day 349 February 12

Yeah, yeah, we all know you're getting to be such a big boy. Okay, I guess I won't be mad at you since you are so stinking cute being so proud of yourself. And now it's time to get off of the stool, son.

K-Day 361, Feb. 26

Sammy is picking his nose alot lately, the good news he has yet to eat a booger. BUT the bad news is that he likes to wipe it on people and laugh. (Not sure which delightful older child taught him this) So while dad was holding him Sat. he chose to wipe it on my jacket!

K-Day 360, Feb. 25

With the dirty sweatshirt, hat and innocent look, really makes you wonder what she's been up to...

K-Day 359, Feb. 24

I think I got a pretty sweet deal!

K-Day 358, Feb. 23

Got Sam a new game today! It's a lot fun, any one wanna go Monkey Dunkin??

K-Day 357, Feb. 22

Always have your safety goggles on while in the bathtub!

Ro: Day 363

Mom and Dad have a little Foosball table. Aaron and I threw down. Can you guess who won?

Ro: Day 362

Connor loves to go to Grandma and Grandpa Legler's, in part due to all the toys they have accumulated for grandkids and the fact that Grandpa will sit and "play toys" with him. I noticed this dinosaur that looked like he had his leg chewed off by a kid at one point, but it also had a very creative peg leg. I asked my dad who had fitted the dino with his prosthetic, and he admitted that it was he who had done it so he could get it to stand up better. I think it is safe to say that Grandpa enjoys playing toys with the grandkids as much as they do.

Ro: Day 361

Our Stake's church ball season started tonight. Our ward got destroyed but I very much enjoyed watching Aaron play. I do admit that I think he is just soooooo cute (in a manly way) when he plays sports. Oo la la.

Ro: Day 360

Connor had a crayon and was sitting by himself with some paper talking to himself. I wasn't really paying attention to him at first but then I started listening to what he was saying. In a very stern voice he was saying, "don't draw on floor! Don't draw on couch! Don't draw on TV!" At least I know he knows where he isn't supposed to draw.

Ro: Day 359

It was Blue and Gold Banquet tonight. It was a lot of fun to see the cub scouts so excited.

Ro: Day 358

Uh oh! Daddy turned into a monster because Connor finished off his root beer float!

On a side note Kaylee says Aaron looks like those bird rat things from Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

K-Day 356

I got up and went with Dan to check out some jobs in the Parks area. There was a ton of snow and we had to shovel it off of the porch to get into the house. When we were backing out I noticed some kids made snowangels on the side of the driveway. They were too cute to not take a pic of.

K-Day 355

Guess what we got this weekend? SNOW! and more snow. Drove us all to stir craziness by Sunday night....let us out, let us out let us out!!! So even though we know it's wrong Sunday evening when we couldn't handle it anymore we went bowling, and it was just what we needed!

Ro: Day 357

I finally read Pride and Prejudice. I grew up in a home where it was a favorite but I never had the ambition to read it myself. I knew the plot and that was good enough. But, I finally did it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I can't wait to borrow the 5-hour movie version from my Mom so I can relive it in all it's flowery-language splendor.

Ro: Day 356

It was NBA All-Star Weekend. Saturday by far has the best events of the weekend in my opinion. The skills challenge, 3-point contest, and slam dunk contest. This year's slam dunk contest was the best I have seen since I started watching them 4 years ago. There was a 2 ball slam dunk, a 3 ball slam dunk, a dunk over a car, a dunk from behind the free throw line, and this throwback to a Vince Carter dunk. Blake Griffin (a rookie, and Aaron's favorite) took home this year's title. It was a fun evening watching novelty basketball with my sweetie.

Ro: Day 355

With the arrival of the new car in the family it really just wasn't practical for us to keep a 3rd car around. Good old Queen Bee was a really good car. I loved her for her spunk and character, and for her complete lack of a blind spot. It is impossible to say how much longer she has left. It could be months, it could be years, but we were in need of a more family-sized vehicle. We passed this automotive beauty on to Laura's fiance, so I am glad that she will stay in the family.

Ro: Day 354

Connor definitely has Aaron genes in him. He pretends to skateboard all the time complete with spin tricks and jumps. When I remembered that the Wii Fit has a skateboard game I knew he had to see it. Boy was he excited by it!

Ro: Day 353

When we picked out crackers today Connor insisted on the ABC crackers. We have been practicing spelling his name, but so far when he tries himself he comes up with "C-O-N-R" So he has all the sounds in there, just gets hung up on the double letters. He'll get it eventually.

Ro: Day 352

Connor was thrilled about his heart suckers that he got for Valentine's Day. I am doing my best to ration them out so they last a while.

K-Day 354, Feb. 19

After Kody's party we took the kids to the mall to buy Koko some clothes. As I walked out of a store, I found all the kids on the little carousel. What a bunch of goofballs!

K-Day 352, Feb 17

"Oh yes I will wear flip flops today!!"
Sorry I didn't realize I missed Thursday, so they are out of order!

K-Day 353, Feb 18

Kody turns 14! We took him, by his choice, to Texas Roadhouse and he chose to bring a friend, MAx. We discovered that Max's birthday was on Mon. So when they sang both boys jumped on the saddle. So glad my kids are this much fun and they have fun friends.

K-Day 351, Feb. 16

I finally printed the new family pics from Sept. Danny and I redid the wall in the front room tonight. Sammy is so excited to have an "S" for Sammy AND his face on the wall.

K-Day 350, Feb. 15

First 2 pages of the Quiet Book done. A ribbon/bead abacus and a fun matching game. Pretty excited to keep going...mom you might have to come up early on Saturday or stay a little later so you can help me see if my sewing machine still works. ;}

K-Day 349, Feb. 14

It's official, my little boy is a big boy. I have been teasing him about his "dirty lip" for awhile now, so today Danny taught him how to shave. Where does the time go? (We also got our taxes done and she reminded us that next year will be the last year we can use Danielle for a child tax credit. When did we get that old?)

Ro: Day 351

They love me, they really love me!
But I knew that before I got all this great stuff. Connor picked that little rose plant out for me all by himself. It is so nice because my roses will last a lot longer than everyone elses. Aaron picked out a nice house plant, the froggy balloon, the chick flick, and a whole box of fun dip. Weeeeeeee!

Ro: Day 350

Hey cool unicorn-tie-head dude.

Ro: Day 349

Kaylee turned 19! She wanted to go bowling. It was so much fun. I haven't bowled since Aaron and I first started dating. It was a great night. Connor got to bowl for the first time. He even got a strike!!! After our lousy first practice game Aaron and I made a little wager on the second game. The prize? A foot rub. It just so happens I bowled my best game ever: 148. I can't wait for my foot rub.

On a side note, it was the rock n' bowl time, and the music videos they were playing were not tasteful. I can't believe that is the stuff our teenagers are subjected to when they are simply bowling!!!

Ro: Day 348

Devastatingly handsome in any situation...siiiiiiiigh.

Ro: Day 347

My mom paid us a lovely visit and brought Connor 2 new pairs of shoes. He loves them so much that he wanted to get dressed first thing in the morning so he could put them on. He was dressed before we even had breakfast, and we usually accomplish that around lunch. That should tell you how much his loves his new shoes.

Ro: Day 346

For some reason that hungry frog looks reeeeeally familiar...
